Three courses in Montco landed in the top 5, starting with Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham, followed by Talamore Country Club in Ambler and the Ace Club in Whitemarsh Township.

Rounding out the top 10, coming in at number 9 is Blue Bell Country Club, which recently underwent a $2 million renovation that included a new irrigation system and new bunkers.

The USGA states that slope rating is a mark that indicates the measurement of the relative difficulty of a course for players who are not scratch golfers compared to the USGA course rating (e.g., compared to the difficulty of a course for scratch golfers)
