Transport yourself to another place and time when you join us for Second Saturday Jazz Nights, hosted by Crying Sam Entertainment, who co-started Jazz Night. Our specially decorated jazz room will make you think you’re sitting in a special seat in Soho.

In November,  August Moon had the Dylan Taylor Trio with Jimmy Bruno on guitar, Sonny Troy on guitar and Dylan Taylor on bass.

For the Dec. 8 Second Saturday Jazz Night,  Geraldine Oliver featuring Silas Irving on piano, Dylan Taylor on bass and Craig McIver on drums, will take the stage.

“This is August Moon’s sixth season hosting Jazz night. It might be an odd combination of jazz music and Korean food, but nothing brings people together like good music and good food, whatever it maybe.” said Ms. Han, who oversees the event along with her mother, Mrs. Kim.

August Moon is one of several local institutions driving Norristown’s revitalization. With the newly renovated Centre Theater, the now established Five Saints Distilling and the long awaited Lafayette Street corridor nearing completion, there couldn’t be a better time to be in the county seat. August Moon has been in business at the same location for more than 40 years.

“It’s also all about community. Anything we can do to bring more attention to Norristown and help it grow is a good thing.”
