The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) wants visitors to plan their winter staycation in Montgomery County this season.

And, the organization continues to make it easier than ever to plan a holiday weekend getaway, or winter escape, in Montco.

The VFTCB’s #MakeItMontco Winter Hotel Package does the planning for guests with exclusive savings – a $250 value – at the best restaurants, entertainment, and premier attractions when they book their next overnight stay in certain Montgomery County hotels.

Running now through April 22, the bundle welcomes visitors throughout the holidays, and beyond, and features a wide range of more than 20 attractions – a record number – and more than 12 hotels.

“The members who participate in this hotel package continue to grow, which only helps encourage more visitors to come to Montgomery County during the winter months,” said Edward Harris, VFTCB Chief Marketing Officer. “You don’t have to go far to get away! There’s so much to do and see here this season, and plenty of reasons for folks to #MakeItMontco. This package is perfect for a weekend filled with family fun, or even a romantic getaway. No matter if you’re planning for kids or couples, the best part is, we put the itinerary together for you!”

Besides hotel promotions and iconic Montco staples that new audiences outside the area can discover – such as the popular Keswick Theatre – the campaign also highlights VIP discounts at iFly, LEGOLAND ® Discovery Center, Elmwood Park Zoo’s Wild Lights, Arnold’s Family Fun Center, the King of Prussia Mall, the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, Five Saints Distilling, and restaurants like Paladar Latin Kitchen, Shake Shack, Founding Farmers, and Seasons 52.

To drive awareness for the hotel package, the VFTCB once again created a brand-new coupon booklet, and put strong marketing behind it, including a first-ever winter TV commercial.

Besides placement on digital billboards, the VFTCB will put a heavy push on social media, and radio announcements in the Baltimore, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, and New Jersey markets.

Whether it’s snowing, or not, the idea of the package is for people to stay up, stay out, stay wild, and stay cool all while they stay in Valley Forge & Montgomery County.

Guests present the coupon booklet they receive when they book their Montgomery County hotel to redeem the offers. Restrictions may apply, and all discounts are subject to availability.
