With New Acquisition, Tower Health to Become Region’s Largest Provider of Urgent Care
Octorara High School graduate Dom London and Great Valley High School graduate Courtney Stevens have been named Athletes of the Year at Harcum College.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the announcement was made via video (see above) on the college's social media channels.
Harcum’s Varsity Award for Athlete of the Year is presented annually to the male and female athlete who represent the ideals of sportsmanship, leadership, service, and who excelled both athletically and academically.
London, a member of the men's basketball team, ended his tenure at Harcum as its third-leading scorer of all time, having tallied more than 1,000 points. He was named an NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) All-American and a two-time Academic All-American. He maintained a 3.7 GPA and will continue his career at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Stevens, a member of the women's soccer team, was named to the NJCAA All-Region First Team. She maintained a 3.9 GPA in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Tower Health, a healthcare system that includes Brandywine Hospital, and Premier Urgent Care have signed an asset purchase agreement for Tower Health to acquire Premier’s 19 urgent care locations that will expand Tower Health’s network of urgent care facilities throughout its service area.
When the transaction closes later this fall, Tower Health will become the largest provider of Urgent Care Services, based on weekly visits, in the Philadelphia region.
The 19 sites are located primarily in Tower Health’s southeast service area, including Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks counties, with one location in Berks County and one in Delaware.
As part of Tower Health’s strong, regional, integrated provider/payer system, the expanded network of urgent care centers will improve access to Tier 1 in-network, integrated, high-quality, high-value care.
