Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust has signed on Studio Movie Grill to space vacated by JC Penney at its Willow Grove Park retail complex.

The 12-screen Studio Movie Grill is scheduled to open next year and will join two other movie theaters that will also be opening in that part of Montgomery County, writes Natalie Kostelni at bizjournals.com.

Penn Cinema plans to open a new theater this November at the Marketplace at Huntingdon Valley at 2010 County Line Road in Huntingdon Valley that will include a wood-fired pizza oven and the possibility of a full-service bar. The Lititz, Lancaster County, movie theater chain is also exploring opening a location in Abington sometime next year.
