Getting There

Golf fans have several options for transportation to and from Aronimink Golf Club during Championship week.

For the shortest shuttle ride, spectators are encouraged to utilize the designated pick-up and drop-off location at The Episcopal Academy (1785 Bishop White Drive, Newtown Square, Pa. 19073) where both private and hired vehicles may drop off and pick up spectators.

Complimentary parking with free shuttle service will be provided to all spectators at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (100 Station Avenue, Oaks, Pa. 19456). Spectators parking in this lot must register for a parking pass for each day they will be attending the Championship prior to arriving at the parking lot.

Upgraded parking is also available on Saturday and Sunday at Delaware County Community College (901 Media Line Road, Media, Pa. 19063) for $25 each and must be purchased in advance.

Patrons can also upgrade their grounds ticket at the main entrance of the Trophy Club, located on the 14th green during tournament rounds. This venue offers upgraded food and beverages, restrooms, climate-controlled indoor seating and views of all of the action outside on the par 5 14th hole.

Beyond the Golf

For fans looking to relax but still be in on the action, the BMW Experience behind the 17th green is the perfect respite. This area will have a one-of-a-kind German biergarten featuring rows of picnic tables, authentic German beer and food, and a large video screen with live tournament coverage. The BMW Experience will also feature a variety of fun activities and contests, and the opportunity to see a line-up of some of BMW’s newest vehicles including a closed-room sneak-peek of the all-new BMW X7 Sports Activity Vehicle and BMW 8 Series convertible.

BMW Owner Benefits

After parking in the dedicated BMW Owners’ Lot with private shuttle service to the tournament main gate, the dedicated BMW Concierge at the main gate will provide speedy tournament entrance for BMW Owners and help answer any on-site questions.

Once on the course, the BMW Owners’ Pavilion located adjacent to BMW Experience offers a climate-controlled venue with premier golf viewing of the 17th green and upgraded food and beverage for purchase. To enter, BMW owners need only show their BMW key fob to admit themselves and a guest.

Get into the Game and the Cause

The BMW Putting Challenge, located inside the BMW Experience, allows patrons to try their hand at getting a hole-in-one all while supporting the official charitable partner of the 2018 BMW Championship. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to sink a 60-foot putt in support of Platt Evans Scholarships and be entered to win a trip to the BMW Performance Center in Thermal, California.

Proceeds from the 2018 BMW Championship will be used to fund Platt Evans Scholarships for caddies attending Penn State University and to establish a scholarship house at Penn State –University Park, where scholarship recipients will live together. Since 2007, the BMW Championships has raised $27 million to fund student scholarships for caddies of modest means.

Sneak Peek

For golf fans seeking an opportunity to see the best of the PGA TOUR in a less competitive environment or to secure player autographs, tickets are available for the professional practice rounds on September 4, 2018 and the Gardner Heidrick Pro-Am on September 5, 2018. These rounds provide a peek inside the preparation for the important playoff days to come and are a great opportunity to see the pros up close. Plus, attendees at Wednesday’s Pro-Am have the opportunity to see two Philadelphia sports icons: Jay Wright, Villanova University men’s basketball head coach, and Ron Jaworski, former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, join in on the action.
