Medtronic Operational Headquarters is located in Fridley, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis.

Global medical technology company Medtronic is closing its Bala Cynwyd. Pa., office next month in a move that is expected to result in the elimination of 63 jobs.

In a notice filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, Medtronic said it had “developed a plan to restructure certain operations” at its office at 111 Presidential Blvd., not from from Philadelphia’s City Avenue. “We anticipate these plans, when finalized, would be permanent and they would involve all Medtronic employees in the entire facility,” the company said.

The office is scheduled to close by Aug. 28. The company noted “various factors” may affect its plans and the timing of employee separations, writes John George in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
