It’s get a whole lot better for Amazon Prime members to shop at Whole Foods — especially on Monday, July 16, otherwise known as Prime Day.

Amazon is offering Prime members a $10 credit they can use for its upcoming Prime Day promotion if they spend at least $10 at Whole Foods until July 17.  On top of that, Amazon will also double the cash-back bonus for Prime Rewards Visa card holders up to 10 percent for Whole Foods purchases.  Amazon’s 36-hour Prime Day begins 3 p.m. Monday, July 16, writes Steve Watkins in the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Amazon has been offering several incentives to get its millions of Prime customers to shop at Whole Foods. In May it began offering Prime members a 10 percent discount on a variety of items at Whole Foods.

Amazon said earlier this year it now has more than 100 million Prime members around the globe. Prime membership runs $120 a year and gives customers free delivery on Amazon shipments as well as other perks.
