Abington-Jefferson Health is getting ready to open its $80 million Asplundh Cancer Pavilion at its Willow Grove campus.

The facility is set to begin providing care to patients July 2, but the hospital hosted its first open house for high-level donors Monday night, writes John George at bizjournals.com.

The 86,000-square-foot center features separate wings for outpatient radiation oncology and infusion therapy, a pharmacy and laboratory; and an image recovery center where patients can get massages, manicure and pedicures.
The project spent more than two decades in the discussion and planning stages.
