The Sheetz convenience store chain is looking to hire more than 1,200 employees in Pennsylvania.

Currently, Berks County is the easternmost county in the tri-county region with Sheetz locations, and the company is not planning to expand eastward, writes Donna Rovins at pottsmerc.com.

The convenience store chain will be adding a mix of full- and part-time employees in the coming weeks, according to Nick Ruffner, public relations manager for Sheetz. He added there are a variety of store positions open across the company including management and store associates.

The company operates 568 stores across six states including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and North Carolina. There are 264 Sheetz stores in Pennsylvania, and the company has nearly 10,000 employees in the state.
