Tools4Sports brings fitness, training, education to the athlete

A former standout football player for LaSalle College High School (Springfield, Montgomery County) and the University of Rhode Island is currently putting his sports knowledge and degree in kinesiology to good use.  Joe Migliarese is now teaching young athletes how to get the most from their efforts with his new venture, Tools4Sports.

The company focuses on equipping individuals, teams, and organizations with the physical and mental tools — movement, recovery, mind-set and nutrition are the chief components — and support structure needed to reach their potential, Migliarese explained over coffee at Starbucks, writes Gary Puleo in The Times Herald.

Migliarese, a native of Whitpain Township, was inspired to start his own venture after working four years as the strength training coach for Appalachian State University, a Division 1 program.

Migliarese designed Tools4Sports to go beyond the local gym, he noted, as a mobile performance and educational platform that provides individuals, teams, and organizations the tools to reach new goals.
