Holiday season is in full swing in Montgomery County. From winter festivals to tree lightings and Santa sightings, there’s plenty of holiday cheer in Montco this week. Brought to you by the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board.

NARBERTH DICKENS FESTIVAL
December 3
Narberth
Downtown Narberth transforms into 1840s London and welcomes period street vendors and food, caroling, musicians, costumed performers, puppet shows, dance performances, ice sculpting and carriage rides. Kids join in the free scavenger hunt to search for Ebenezer Scrooge and other costumed Dickens characters.

WINTERFEST
December 2
King of Prussia Town Center
The King of Prussia Town Center will host its second annual Winterfest celebration on December 2. The day includes performances by local choirs, ice sculptures, a visit from Santa and more.
THE MESSIAH
December 2 – 3
Ursinus College
The piece will be sung by the College Choir and Meistersingers, and conducted by Professor John French, holder of the Heefner Chair of Music.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL
December 1 – 17
Steel River Playhouse
This spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most well-known story was written by Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Little Shop and Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Suessical). Bring your whole family to enjoy this wonderful, uplifting story with beautiful costumes and a fabulous orchestra that audiences have come to expect from Steel River Playhouse.
