Elmwood Park Zoo is proud to host the 22nd Annual Lt. Patty Simons Law Enforcement Food Drive.

We have collected all of the food and we’re ready to stage a grand parade to the Salvation Army on Swede Street in Norristown to deliver the goods!

We will gather in the lower parking lot of the zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown, beginning at 7:30 a.m. to begin assembling for the parade. A group photo will be taken at 9 a.m. with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a few of his reindeer, who are making a temporary home at Elmwood Park Zoo. We’ll sing a few Christmas carols, have some coffee and donuts and the parade will begin immediately following, according to a press release from the zoo.

There will be photo opportunities for Mr. and Mrs. Claus, our live reindeer, and of course for the parade. Thousands upon thousands of pounds of food have been donated from all across the county!

All are welcome to come join us!
