Fortune: Jenkintown’s Goodway Group One of Best Workplaces for Women Nationwide

Goodway Group, the advertising agency from Jenkintown, is one of the best workplaces for women nationwide, writes Marielle Mondon for Philly Voice.

The Montgomery County company is 14th on Best Workplaces for Women ranking released by Fortune Magazine and Great Place to Work.

The rankings were determined from 50 metrics, including ethical leadership, respectful and fair workplace interactions, and benefits. The number and various positions of women in the company and their survey responses were also considered.

In fact, Goodway Group’s leadership positions are evenly split between men and women.

Among the advantages for female employees is paid maternity leave. After giving birth, women can take ten weeks of 100 percent paid leave if they have been employed with the company for two full years.

There  Is also two weeks of fully paid paternity leave for new fathers and parents who have adopted children and have been with the company for over a year.

The company’s other benefits include flexible scheduling, full time work from home, and health insurance that covers fertility treatments.

Goodway Group was also recently honored by When Work Works for its exemplary office practices.
