Mick Mitchell, printing and packaging specialist for the Saxco International’s Pacific Division, said the company’s role “was to help create a dynamic and innovative package with a distinctive and beautiful overall eye appeal and a prominent shelf appearance.”

Mitchell and Dave Phinney, owner of Savage And Cooke, worked together with the California company’s product design team to move the project from the design phase into realization. Saxco provided the mold for its 750ml cosmetic quality flint bottle that features a short neck, square shoulders, and a thick bottom.

The mold was sourced from a supply partner in Mexico and the resulting bottle will be used for both types of Ayate Tequila and embossed with a decorative “A” on the front.

The resulting labels have been hand painted using precious metals and the bottles were then finished off with a custom glass closure. To top it off, Saxco has created a special three-pack custom gift/display that is laminated with black and gold foil on the front.
