Real estate investors, landlords, and the general public can gain insight on easy home repairs, attend seminars on a variety of lending options, and learn about the latest trends for home renovations during the Diversified Real Estate Investor Group’s 13th annual tradeshow.

Held Aug. 24, from 5-9 PM at the Valley Forge Casino Resort, the event features more than 65 vendors, a genius bar where real estate experts answer questions, educational seminars, and do-it-yourself demonstrations from DIY HIP Chicks Founder Beth Allen, of Horsham.

Allen, who was featured recently on the Rachael Ray Show and earlier this year filmed a pilot for a home repair show, HIP Chick Flip, will lead three, 30-minute Do It Yourself discussions.

“I try to throw in tips for the investor, tips for the landlord, tips for the general public,” said Allen, a former nurse-turned-licensed contractor who, through her business, shares home improvement tips geared primarily for women.

“If you educate the landlord on how to educate their tenants it saves everybody a lot of time and aggravation.”
