East Norriton icon, Ana’s Corner Store, is the setting for several Pennsylvania Lottery TV commercials that will air this summer, writes Gary Puleo for The Times Herald.

The little deli and convenience store on the corner of North Wales and Township Line roads was closed for four days to allow Pennsylvania Lottery to film uninterrupted.

Ana Ferry, who owns the former Wawa with her brother Richard Gaglianese, said she was more than happy to offer the store’s interior and exterior to the production crew. However in the ads, the inside may be unrecognizable to even the most frequent visitor.

“It was quite the experience. The store was completely transformed,” said Ferry.

All the customer’s favorite brands were either removed or covered up in some way, including Ferry’s own brand of homemade take-out cuisine.

But regular customers have no need to worry that things will be out of place when they visit again. The crew took pictures of the store before all the changes and once filming was complete and carefully returned everything back to their appropriate places.
