Norristown Resident and Nursing Home Honored by Business and Professional Women of Pennsylvania

Norristown’s Noreen Morello and Regina Nursing Home were recently honored at the 96th Business and Professional Women’s Organization of Pennsylvania Convention in Cranberry Township, according to a staff report from The Times Herald.

The highlight of the convention was the presentation of the awards for Woman of the Year to Noreen Morello and Employer of the Year to Regina Nursing Home.

Morello has been a member of Business and Professional Women for a quarter of a century, serving on numerous committees and as an officer. She became president of Norristown BPW in 1995 and now serves as treasurer of Central Montgomery County BPW.

Joe Weinhart, Personnel Director of Regina Nursing Home, accepted the Employer of the Year award.

Established more than 50 years ago as a privately owned, non-profit institution, Regina Nursing Home provides comprehensive nursing care for the mentally and physically handicapped, as well as for the chronically ill and the elderly.
